About Saint Patrick's Day Greeting Gift Tag
Saint Patrick's Day Greeting Gift Tag earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to clover gift tag, and straight answers are rarer in this pattern catalogue than you would think. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. The designer behind it is Art's and Patterns. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
We would use it the way the listing hints — festive irish gift tag — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. We check the yardage before starting a small gift, because running out twenty stitches from the end is how a quick make becomes a parked one. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
It answers to green aesthetic gift tag, irish blessing gift tag, leprechaun gift tag and lucky charm gift tag, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. The same shelf also answers to keychain, keyring, coaster, basket and flower, so widen the search there before giving up on it. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on graduation gift ideas, crochet gift ideas, handmade gift ideas for best friend, crochet bookmark and baby shower gift ideas, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. We keep it under Small Crochet Gifts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the small crochet gifts we have gone through.

How to use this pattern
- Download the PDF from Creative Fabrica and check the yardage and hook size before you shop — a small gift rarely needs a full skein.
- Work the gauge swatch anyway on anything that has to fit, like a hat or a bracelet; on a stuffed toy you can skip it.
- Stuff toys firmer than feels right and close the seam with a ladder stitch — a gift gets squeezed, and loose stuffing shows within a week.
- Make the first one a week before you need it. The second one is always the one you give away.
