About Peacock Box
What we like about Peacock Box is how little it tries to be everything — it does beaded box, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Crochet Patterns shelf. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. Only 80 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. It comes from beadybug.
We keep it filed mentally under beading pattern, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. A pattern that counts stitches at the end of each row saves you the evening you would otherwise spend frogging. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether beaded box was the description or the aspiration.
Search for beading tutorial, detailed instructions, instant download and miyuki delica and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same pattern, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. You will find it among the crochet patterns, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. Put next to the usual requests here — crochet coasters, crochet toys, crochet basket, bookmark crochet and crochet bookmarks free patterns — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are crochet and they stay on this page.

How to use this pattern
- Download the PDF from Creative Fabrica and check the yardage and hook size before you shop — a small gift rarely needs a full skein.
- Work the gauge swatch anyway on anything that has to fit, like a hat or a bracelet; on a stuffed toy you can skip it.
- Stuff toys firmer than feels right and close the seam with a ladder stitch — a gift gets squeezed, and loose stuffing shows within a week.
- Make the first one a week before you need it. The second one is always the one you give away.
