About Halloween Bat Crochet Pattern

What we like about Halloween Bat Crochet Pattern is how little it tries to be everything — it does amigurumi bat, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Amigurumi and Toy Patterns shelf. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. Credit goes to LittleLullabyShop. 2 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.

Look for the finished measurements in the pattern. A toy that comes out half again as big is a different gift from the one in the photo. Put it to work on amigurumi crochet first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

Filed as amigurumi pattern, amigurumi tutorial, autumn craft and bat amigurumi. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are toy, doll, plush, stuffed and animal and they stay on this page. The wording people arrive with is crochet stuffed animals, teddy bear nursery theme, vintage teddy bear nursery, doll handmade and handmade doll house, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. We filed it under Amigurumi and Toy Patterns for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this pattern

  1. Download the PDF from Creative Fabrica and check the yardage and hook size before you shop — a small gift rarely needs a full skein.
  2. Work the gauge swatch anyway on anything that has to fit, like a hat or a bracelet; on a stuffed toy you can skip it.
  3. Stuff toys firmer than feels right and close the seam with a ladder stitch — a gift gets squeezed, and loose stuffing shows within a week.
  4. Make the first one a week before you need it. The second one is always the one you give away.
